Heather Nicole Abercrombie and David Brendon Wilson were united in marriage at 7 p.m. June 14, 2008, at Waters Mill in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Curtis and Lisa Abercrombie of Murrayville. The groom is the son of Don and Brenda Wilson of East Prairie, Mo.
The Rev. Gerald Edmondson performed the ceremony. The groom sang a special song he wrote to the bride.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's cousin Anna Orr of Gainesville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Jade Gilleland of Murrayville and Terri Pollard of Dahlonega; the groom's sisters Christa Rasche of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Melissa Adams of Dahlonega; and the bride's friend Jessica Parker of Gainesville. The groom's sister Jada Wilson of East Prairie and the groom's niece Gracen Adams of Dahlonega were the flower girls.
The groom's nephew Justin Rasche of Corpus Christi was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Brink Chance and Darren Lingle, both of East Prairie; the groom's brothers-in-law Bruce Rasche of Corpus Christi and Chris Adams of Dahlonega; and the groom's friend Eric Drummond of Rawlins, Wyo. The bride's cousin John Michael Orr of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were Josh Rasche, Jimmy Aitken, Mike Seabolt and Keith Murden.
Rhonda Sheppard was the wedding coordinator.
The bride wore a diamond tree necklace given to her by the groom's mother and designed by the groom's sister.
The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Pine Valley in Dahlonega on the eve of the wedding.
The bride's parents gave a reception at Waters Mill in Dahlonega following the ceremony.
Following a wedding trip to Medicine Bow National Forest, Wyo., the couple reside in Falkville, Ala.
