Ms. Bonnie Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fellers III , all of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Ashley Clennice Fellers to Mr. Samuel Joseph Sliger, son of Ms. Michelle Wilcox of Largo, Fla., and Mr. Samuel Eddie Sliger of Clarkesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fellers Jr. of Augusta, Mrs. Mae Wood of Talmo and the late Mr. Joe Wood.She is a 2003 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2009 from The University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in management. She is employed as a client service representative with Etcon Employment Solutions in Athens and Madison. She is a member of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, The Young Professionals of Athens, The Junior League of Athens and is an alumni of The University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Sadlo of Naples, Fla., Mrs. Edith Sliger of Clarkesville and the late

Mr. Willard Sliger.

The couple plan to wed May 21, 2011, at Madison Oaks Inn and Gardens in Madison.
