High school softball: Flowery Branch edges North Oconee

Lauren Hicks had four hits, including three singles and a triple for Flowery Branch in a 4-3 win against North Oconee on Tuesday. Makaela Davis and Alyssa Wagner each had a pair of singles for the Lady Falcons (6-1). 


BUFORD 17, SHILOH 1: Freshman Emma Grace Williams threw all three innings and allowed just two hits on Tuesday in Buford. At the plate, Abbi Perkins had a two-run homer and double with four RBIs for the Lady Wolves (9-2), while Taylor Malvin had a pair of triples and scored three runs. 

Up next, Buford visits Dacula at 6 p.m. Friday.
