2 men arrested on drug charges; one resists, fights back, officials say

Two men face drug charges after an arrest Friday, during which one resisted arrest and fought with the officers, officials say.

The Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and Hall County Sheriff’s Office agents executed a search warrant at a home at 2858 Fran Mar Drive, Lt. Scott Ware said in an email news release. They seized synthetic marijuana and methamphetamine with a value estimated at about $750.

Luis Alberto Carlos, 20, of Hall County was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of synthetic marijuana, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, crossing a guard line and misdemeanor obstruction.

Carlos resisted arrest and fought with agents before being taken into custody, officials said.

Jesus Eduardo Carlos, 22, of Hall County, was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

A 16-year-old also was involved and released into a parent’s custody. The teen will face criminal charges in Juvenile Court.
