Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery plans to pop and pull wine corks this weekend to mark the beginning of the annual Georgia Wine Country Festival.

Now in its 14th year, the Lumpkin County vineyard will host events every Saturday and Sunday in June. Admission is free.

For a fee, patrons may enter the wine garden, featuring guest Georgia wineries from across the state. Past Georgia wineries included Boutier Winery, Chateau Elan, The Cottage Vineyards, Curahee Vineyards, The Georgia Winery, Mercier Orchards-Hard Pressed Cider, Montaluce Winery and Three Sisters Vineyards.

This year, Three Sisters welcomes returning and new wineries. Georgia BBQ by 2014 Georgia Champion Billy Rhodes and Dahlonega’s Hickory Prime BBQ will be available for purchase every weekend. Georgia wines, hard cider and Georgia beer from Cherry Street Brewing, JailHouse Brewing, Jekyll Brewing, Monday Night Brewing, Orpheus Brewing, Red Hare Brewing, Sweetwater Brewing Company and others will be available to purchase.

Music during the weekends includes the jazz, soul and standards of Tommy Dean and Mike Ewbank, aka Moose & Squirrel, and the Rick Harris-Ken Gregory Jazz Duo.

Festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
