High school softball: East Hall's run in Columbus ends with loss to Ringgold

East Hall’s softball team had its run at the state tournament end with a 3-2 loss against Ringgold on Friday in the 3A bracket in Columbus. The Lady Vikings opened the day, losing 1-0 to Lovett.

In the nightcap, Macy Banks pitched six innings and allowed three runs and nine hits for the Lady Vikings. Ansley Ivey and Callie Dale each had multiple hits for East Hall.

With the losses, East Hall’s season is complete.
