ATLANTA — Thomas Dimitroff is safe for another year as the Atlanta Falcons general manager after owner Arthur Blank said Friday he likes the new management team of coach Dan Quinn and the GM. Blank said there will be changes in the Falcons’ pro personnel and college scouting departments following an 8-8 season. However, he said Dimitroff formed “a productive working relationship” with Quinn in Quinn’s first year as coach. Blank also said Scott Pioli will stay as assistant general manager.
