The Jefferson High baseball team picked up a 14-1 and 10-0 doubleheader sweep of East Jackson on Saturday. In Game 1, Taylor Wilkes, Will Breese and Jake Franklin each had two hits and combined to drive in seven runs. Micah Carpenter reached base in all four plate appearance for Jefferson (12-2, 8-1 Region 8-AAA) and scored a pair of runs.
