Buford’s Kelsey Bennett hammered a home run and hit a sac fly to produce three RBIs in the Lady Wolves’ 9-0 win against Winder-Barrow on Wednesday in the Hawk Bulldog Tournament at Mill Creek in Hoschton. 

Mariah Wicker was 2 for 2 for Buford (6-1) with two stolen bases, while teammate Arielle Oda was 2 for 3 with two stolen bases. Gabby Benson finished the night 2 for 3 with one stolen base for the Lady Wolves. Logan Caymol picked up the win from the circle for Buford, throwing eight strikeouts in five innings.

Buford plays Apalachee at 7 p.m. today in the Hawk Bulldog Tournament.
