The Gainesville High boys golf team shot a team total 291 (+7) at Chateau Elan Golf Club on Monday to capture the Region 8-AAAAA title and its fifth consecutive region championship. Junior Spencer Ralston (70) secured his sixth individual title of the season on the first playoff hole after tying with teammate Nathan Williams in regulation. The victory was the team’s third title this season.
