According to Flowery Branch principal Mark Coleman, Lady Falcons basketball coach Angela Middleton has submitted a letter or resignation.

During her six-year tenure at the helm of the Flowery Branch girls program, Middleton complied a 77-81 record that included three trips to the Class AAA state tournament.

Flowery Branch athletic director Shannon Benton says that a search for the next coach will begin immediately.
