High school soccer: Sergio Turcios' seven goals lead East Hall past Banks County

Sergio Turcios scored seven goals for the East Hall boys soccer team as the Vikings blew by Banks County 12-2. Maury Ibarra and Freddy Rebollar had two goals each while Pedro Arroyo added one. 

Next up, East Hall (12-1-1) takes on Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

EAST HALL GIRLS 6, BANKS COUNTY 4: Denci Murrillo scored four times for the Lady Vikings (4-8-1), while Carolina Sesmas and Yenifer Gomez added the other two goals. Kaia Rice had three saves in goal for East Hall.

The Lady Vikings will travel to play Greater Atlanta Christian on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 4, NORTH HALL 1: Millie Filson led the way for the Lady Lions (8-3) with a hat trick. Sara Nivens scored Lakeview Academy’s fourth goal. 

Michelle Tymchuk put in the Lady Trojans’ lone goal.

Lakeview Academy will play again today against Chestatee at 5 p.m.

NORTH HALL BOYS 5, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 0: Austin Godoy scored a pair of first half goals to lead the Trojans (6-6) to an early lead. Edwin Sanchez, Alex Aguilar and Erin Sanchez scored the remaining North Hall goals. 

Ty Smith and Damon Campbell combined for the shutout in goal.

The Trojans will play next at Jackson County on Friday night. 

BUFORD GIRLS 3, CHATTAHOOCHEE 1: Arden Paulino, Angeli Burgos and Chloe Kerr scored goals for the Lady Wolves (10-3-3). 

Buford takes on Lumpkin County on Friday.
