The DPG Golf Group played matches at Chicopee Woods Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week. On Monday, Denis Jordan won with a (+9), and Norm Phillips placed second (+6). Jerry Pearson won on Wednesday (+5) and Dave Jetter finished second (+4). Then on Friday, Phillips won with a (+2), and Jetter was second at even.

On April 25, Dwight Miller and Bob Kidd tied for first place. Kidd was first April 27, while Charley Kilby and Jerry Shell tied for second. Steve Knowles took first April 29, with Dave Jetter in second.

CMGA: Johnny Little, Rolf Legbandt, Clay Bartlett and Glynn Rogers took first place Wednesday, as the Chattahoochee Mens Golf Association played a two best-ball, aggregated net-strokes game at the Chattahoochee Golf Course. Second place went to Eddie Johnson, Paul Payne, John Beem and Bill Hardman, with Jimmy Johnson, Dave Long, Bob Henderson and Butch Teston in third. Closest to the pin winners were Clay Bartlett on No. 3, Herb Sckerl on No. 5, Harry Barnett on No. 12 and Don Wells on No. 17.

CLGA: Sally Smith won low gross and low putts, while Sue Cronmiller finished first in the low-net First Flight, as the Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played Tuesday at the Chattahoochee Golf Club. In the second flight, Nancy Negley won low gross and low putts, while Jewell Floyed won low net. Closest to the win winners were Ann Hollobaugh on No. 3 and Jeanne Tompkins on No. 17.

DOGFIGHT: Roger Stapp, Lou Vega and Yoshi (21-under-par) took first place as the Wednesday Dogfight took place at Chicopee Woods Golf Course this week. Greg Lee, Geoff Archibald and Jerry Horton (19-under-par) were second, while Karl Steigele, Bob Arendt and Mike Tilson (15-under-par) were third.
