The Piedmont College baseball team lost 10-8 against visiting Montclair State University Monday night at Loudermilk Field. The Lions’ (9-3) offense broke out of a two-game slump, but the Red Hawks’ bats were even hotter in a game that featured 21 hits.

Piedmont hosts Albion College and Guilford College in a double-header at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday.
