Following the most successful softball season in program history, North Georgia College & State University signed seven players who will join the Saints for the 2010-11 season.

Merideth Sellers of Thompson High in Columbiana, Ala., Jessica Coan (GACS, Norcross), Lindsey Post (McKinney North High, Texas), Sarah Johnson (Hillgrove High, Powder Springs), Katie Garrett (North Oconee High), Madison Dodd (Calhoun High) and Ansley Williams (Adairsville High, Cartersville) will all play for the Saints next season.

The newcomers will join 12 returning players as the Saints look to return to the NCAA Division-II World Series, where last year they finished fifth overall. During the 2010 season, the Saints won an NCAA softball record 51 straight games and are 101-7 the last two seasons. Last season, they were the Peach Belt Conference regular season and tournament champions and the Southeast Region champions.
