Buford girls basketball program locks up spot in state title game with win against Southwest Dekalb

Tate Walters led the Buford High girls with 21 points and seven boards as it beat Southwest DeKalb 51-38 in the Class 5A state semifinals Saturday at Columbus State University. Ebony Grant had six points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Wolves. 

Up next, Buford (28-2) faces the Villa Rica/Columbia winner for the state championship at 6 p.m. Thursday in Macon.
