Cherokee Bluff splits first two games with GAC in second round, forces Game 3

Cherokee Bluff has stretched its second-round series against Greater Atlanta Christian to three games. 

In Game 2 Wednesday, the Bears escaped with a 9-6 win to avoid a sweep after dropping the opener 2-1. 

With the split, the deciding third game of the series is Thursday in Lilburn. 

In Game 2, Caleb Piland had a home run and finished with two RBIs for Cherokee Bluff (20-10). Brody Beal and Caleb Miele each had a double for the Bears. 

In Game 1, Dylan Kautz was 3 for 4 for the Bears.
