Hall County voter turnout came in at almost 18 percent on Tuesday, May 22.
A total of 19,414 ballots were cast in the primary election on Tuesday. There are 108,944 active registered voters in the county, according to the Hall County Elections Office.
Turnout wasn’t concentrated in a particular area of the county, said county elections coordinator Paige Nix.
The primary election had consequences for a slew of important races, including Georgia’s two top jobs, governor and lieutenant governor, and the secretary of state.
