A Gainesville man was arrested Monday in connection with manufacturing marijuana and possession of the drug with the intent to distribute. Daniel Wertz, 35, was charged after agents of the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad on Saturday responded to Antioch Trail in Gainesville. Officers seized approximately 4 ounces of marijuana and three growing marijuana plants, in addition to scales and packaging materials.
