Northeast Georgia Health System will change its phone numbers beginning Sunday.

The central phone number for Northeast Georgia Medical Center will be 770-219-9000. Anyone calling the old number, 770-535-3553, will be automatically transferred to the new one.

Patient rooms at the hospital’s main campus will be directly accessible by dialing 770-219- followed by the four-digit room number. Rooms at the Lanier Park campus can be reached by calling 770-219-0, then a three-digit room number.

A separate phone prefix, 770-848-, has been set up for the health system’s South Hall campus.

It will apply to the Medical Plaza 1 at River Place office building and to any other facilities built on the site, including the planned hospital campus in Braselton.
