Ted and Melanie Williams of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Kali Williams to Charles Augustus "Gus" Flowers, son of Ermadine Collins Flowers of Gainesville and the late Carlton McKneely "Buck" Flowers.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Montie and Janelle Robinson of Oakwood, Bertha Williams of Flowery Branch and the late Frank Williams.

She is a 2002 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. She received a master's degree in occupational therapy from Brenau University in Gainesville in 2010.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Eleanor Collins of Springdale, Ark., the late Clifford Collins and the late Charles and Thelma Flowers.

He is a 1999 graduate of Johnson High School in Oakwood. He is employed as a dispatcher with Crane Transport Inc. in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 16, 2010, at Kellum Valley Farm in Cleveland.
