Local singer/songwriters Wilder Embry and Chris Bennett have been taking a trip back in time on Friday nights at Monkey Barrel in Gainesville, when the duo sings favorites by The Beatles.

And this Friday’s performance will be even more special — Embry will pair up with Bill Hardman to play a set of original music, followed by Embry’s and Bennett’s Beatles night.

This Friday’s show will benefit Holly Trawick, a local woman who is seeking a special treatment in Germany.

The music starts at 9:30 p.m. and there is a $5 cover charge.

Embry recently celebrated the release of his latest album, "the Bottle," at a CD release party at 3rd and Lindsey in Nashville.

Monkey Barrel is located at 115 Washington St. in Gainesville.
