Rudolph to marshal Christmas parade down streets
Braselton’s annual Christmas parade will march down the streets at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 21 with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer leading the way. The deadline to register for the parade is Monday.

Entries for the Celebrate the Holidays in Braselton Parade are now being accepted, Downtown Director Amy Pinnell said.

With Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer as grand marshal, the parade is set to start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, from YearOne  at 1001 Cherry Drive and proceed down Ga. 53 through downtown and weave around past Braselton Park on Harrison Street and back onto Davis Street to return to YearOne. The Celebrate the Holidays festival will be under way from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the same day.

The parade theme is the Carols of Christmas and entrants are being asked to base their floats, walking units or vehicles on one of the popular holiday tunes.

Floats, twirlers, tractors, dignitaries and walking units will be joining the Flowery Branch High School marching band and the Jackson County Comprehensive High School marching band. And expect to see that jolly ol’ elf.
