Piedmont Chorale to perform its annual Service of Lessons and Carols
Concert set for Dec. 4-5 at college in Demorest

Lauren Ringwall directs the 105-voice Piedmont Chorale for the annual Service of Lessons and Carols on Dec. 4–5 at Piedmont College in Demorest.

Piedmont College will celebrate the Christmas season with its 27th annual Service of Lessons and Carols.

The free performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4–5, in the chapel on the Demorest campus.

Singing during the concert will be the Piedmont Chorale, the Mountain View High School Mixed Chorus from Lawrenceville and the Piedmont Brass. The choirs will be accompanied by organist William Stegner and pianist Kay Harris.

The program will include works by G.F. Handel, Thomas Juneau, Stephen Paulus, Glenn L. Rudolph and Mark G. Sirrett, as well as traditional Christmas carols with audience participation.

Lectors for the program will include Piedmont faculty and staff members, including Ashley Cleere, Stephen Whited, Jennica Moore, Joanna Tucker, Max White, Maria Fisk, Ann Sutton, Ronald Leslie, Katherine Breithaupt and Michael Berglund.
