Easter may be over, but fun with eggs this spring has just begun.

Featured artists include Alan Rabon, Ann T. LeGates, Bill Arrington, Carole B. Kjellsen and Dawna M. Godfrey. Featured Blackberry Creek artists include Fay Bohlayer, Betty Beasley, Cheri Burchard. Pat Maloney, Catherine Pichon, Susanne Newell, Mary Ann Cox Sheehy and Dru Stowers.
The Bowen is honored to welcome members of the International Egg Art Guild to Dawsonville to introduce the community to the art of the carved and decorated egg. The artists will be showing their one-of-a-kind eggshells from the tiniest zebra finch to the gigantic ostrich.
The eggshells are purchased from suppliers who sell non-fertile, emptied and cleaned eggshells. The eggs are decorated in Ukranian style or fancy cut, then trimmed with a variety of cords paints and crystals. To complete the eggs, the artists of Blackberry Creek will be exhibiting their fine art of “New Beginnings.”
