UNG men's basketball team to hold exhibition game for hurricane relief
North Georgia

The University of North Georgia and Piedmont College men’s basketball teams will stage an exhibition game at 7 p.m. next Monday at Memorial Hall in Dahlonega, with all proceeds directed toward hurricane relief efforts.

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students ages 7-18. Students, faculty and staff from both schools — along with children ages 6 and under — will not be charged for admission, though such attendees can make a monetary donation at the door.

All funds will go to Team Rubicon, an ex-military volunteer organization contributing to hurricane relief efforts in Georgia, Texas and Puerto Rico.

“This game will help both teams prepare for the season, but more importantly, we’re hoping for a big turnout, so we can make a good donation,” Piedmont coach Greg Neeley said in a school news release.
