Softball: Cherokee Bluff locks up No. 2 seed to state with 5-1 win against North Hall

Cherokee Bluff’s Stephanie Condland had a home run, while Izzy Herren threw a complete game with eight strikeouts from the pitching circle in a 5-1 win against North Hall on Saturday. 

With the win, the No. 2 seed Lady Bears will open the postseason against Greater Atlanta Christian in a best-of-three series, starting with a doubleheader Tuesday in Flowery Branch.
