Chestatee's Gaddis takes second overall in Class 4A race at cross country state meet

Chestatee High’s Luke Gaddis ran a time of 16-minutes, 41-seconds and earned second place overall in the Class 4A state championship race Friday in Carrollton. Also for Chestatee, Johnathan Torres Cruz was 10th (17:10).

The War Eagles’ boys took fourth place overall. 

In Class 6A, Gainesville’s Ashley Thompson took seventh place overall (19:49). The Gainesville boys took seventh place in Class 6A. 

The state meet continues Saturday in Carrollton.
