Gwinnett couldn’t solve the Charlotte Knights, dropping the third of four games in the finale of the home-and-home series 7-4 at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville on Sunday.

Julio Teheran had his shortest outing in a game not shortened by rain on the season, yielding four runs on four hits and four walks in three innings. Tyler Pastornicky kept his hot bat cooking, going 2-for-5 with 2 RBI to extend his hitting streak to a G-Braves season-high 12 games.

The G-Braves hit the road for five games at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre beginning with a 7:05 start tonight.

Gwinnett will send out RHP Todd Redmond (7-8, 3.00) against Yankees LHP Greg Smith (3-2, 5.24).
