Constanza extends hit streak to 12 for Gwinnett

Jose Constanza extended his hitting streak to 12 games and Stefan Gartrell added a three-RBI double for the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves in a 4-0 win against the Indianapolis Indians on Tuesday at Victory Park in Indianapolis, Ind.

In a rehab outing for the Atlanta Braves, right fielder Jason Heyward with 0 for 3 with a strike out.

Outfielder Jeff Fiorentino also drove in a run for Gwinnett with an RBI double in the ninth inning.

Right hander Julio Teheran threw seven innings and allowed three hits, but didn't factor in the decision for the G-Braves.

Juan Abreu pitched one inning to earn the win. Gwinnett plays host to the Durham Bulls at 7 p.m. on Thursday night at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville.
