The DPG golf group played matches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Chicopee Woods Golf Course in Gainesville.
Steve Knowles won the match Monday.

Terrence Dale took first place honors Wednesday. Billy Corbin, Charley Kilby, Denis Jordan and Steve Knowles tied for second place.

On Friday, Terrence Dale won first place in the singles match, and teamed up with Dwight Miller to win the team competition.

CHATTAHOOCHEE MEN’S ASSOCIATION: The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball, aggregated net points game Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course in Gainesville.

First place went to the team of Eddie Johnson, Ed Pledger, Robert Mallis and Dave Gleason.

Second place went to the team of Roy Lyle, Leroy Harper, Wayne Nelson and J.B. Johnston.

Tied for third place were the teams of Buzz Hansen, Stu Virgin and Tony DeNote, AJ Kiker, John T. Smith, Warren Jahn and Joe Kolesar, and Don Sorrell, Don Wells, Jim Carroll and Bob Henderson.

Closest to the pin winners were Harry Barnett (No. 3), Sorrell (No. 5), Gene Weschler (No. 12) and Carlyle Cox (No. 17).

LUNA’S TUESDAY GOLF GROUP: The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at The Orchard Golf Course in Clarkesville.

First place went to the team of Rob Emerson, Doug Van, Jimmy Harritos and Gene Weschler.

Second place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr, Randy Gordy, Johnny Nix and Cleve Brown.

Third place went to the team of Michael Gordy, Tom Sexton, Anthony Barrett and Don Rogers.

Closest to the pin winners were Rogers (No. 2), Randy Gordy (No. 7), Sexton (No. 11) and Michael Gordy (No. 13).
