Despite losses last week to West Forsyth and Johnson, the West Hall boys basketball team remained in the Top 10 of the latest Georgia Sports Writers Association basketball poll released Monday.
The Spartans (14-3, 0-2 Region 7B-AAA) are tied for sixth with Washington County. South Atlanta remains the top ranked team in Class AAA, receiving seven of the eight possible first-place votes.
The Gainesville girls are ranked No. 9.
In Class AA, the Buford girls remain the top-ranked team, receiving five first-place votes.
