The North Georgia Christian Academy boys basketball team took down Heritage Christian Academy 63-45 on Monday in Gainesville.
Aaron Willis led the Chargers (12-7) with 17 points, five steals and four rebounds and Caleb Eppeling added 14 points in the win. Jonah Martin (10 points, 13 rebounds) recorded a double-double for the home team and Dylan Boonstra added seven points, 12 rebounds and two steals in the non-region game.
The Chargers took a 10-point lead after the opening quarter but had to hold on to a 32-25 halftime advantage before rolling to the lopsided win in the second half.
North Georgia Christian will return to the court today against Colonial Hills in Gainesville.
