The Jefferson Dragons baseball team lost 3-2 to North Oconee Tuesday night.

Jefferson led 2-1 after Max Ford and Jason Demos scored in the fifth inning, but North Oconee answered with two runs in the sixth and held on to the lead.

Matt Bowen took the loss for the Dragons (2-3, 1-2 8-AA), whose game against East Jackson on Wednesday was rained out.

NORTH HALL BOYS 2, STEPHENS COUNTY 1: The Trojans scored one goal each from Dillon Martin and Zack Tibbs on Tuesday in Toccoa.

Jordan Schmitt and Abraham Elias combined for the win in goal. The Trojans play at Lanier 7:30 p.m. Friday.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 3, STEPHENS COUNTY 0 (Tuesday): Led by two goals from Alex Lawson, the Lady Trojans won in Toccoa.

Jordan Shows and Alden Powell combined for the shutout in goal. North Hall plays at Lanier 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Golf

RIVERSIDE 184, LAKEVIEW 197, BANKS COUNTY 207 (Tuesday): The Eagles won a tri-match at Scales Creek Country Club in Homer.

Matt Askounis posted the low score for second-place Lakeview with a 46.

RABUN COUNTY 91, WHITE COUNTY 95, HART COUNTY 104 (Tuesday): Rachel Hammond shot a 47 and Brittan Slaton a 48 to place for the Lady Warriors, who host a 20-team Spring Swing tourney Saturday at Mossy Creek.

JEFFERSON BOYS 3, JACKSON COUNTY 2 (Tuesday): Zack Bost (6-0, 6-0), Ben Daniel (6-1, 6-0) and Jordan Tyler (6-0, 6-3) won for the Dragons.

JEFFERSON GIRLS 3, JACKSON COUNTY 2 (Tuesday): Taylor Bost (6-0, 6-1), Tristan McGarity (6-1, 6-1) and Chelsea Runkel/Amanda Burgamy (7-5, 6-4) won for the Lady Dragons.
