Will Maddox, Hunter Anglin and David Gonzalez all connected on home runs for Gainesville in an 18-5 win against Stephens County on Wednesday in Toccoa. Maddox finished with a pair of hits and a three-run home run, while Gonzalez's home run scored two runs.

Skyler Weber had four hits and six RBIs for the sixth-ranked Red Elephants (9-2, 7-2 Region 8-AAA). Stephen Mason added three hits and three runs scored for Gainesville, which visits North Hall at 5:55 p.m. Friday at Jody Davis Field.

WHITE COUNTY 17, MONROE AREA 7: Hayden Cummins had two solo home runs and four hits for White County (9-1, 8-1 Region 8-AAA) on Wednesday in Monroe. David Sosebee added two doubles, a home run and three RBIs for the Warriors. McClane Ramey drove in four runs for No. 9 White County, which visits Lanier at 5:55 p.m. Friday in Sugar Hill.

OCONEE COUNTY 20, CHESTATEE 7: Alex Moore and Kenny Herock each hit a home run for the War Eagles on Wednesday in Gainesville. Mike Pinson had a double and two RBIs for Chestatee, which hosts Johnson at 5:55 p.m. Friday.

BUFORD 7, SOUTH ATLANTA 0: Wolves starter Sam Clay allowed only one hit over six innings and had 10 strikeouts on Wednesday in Atlanta. Jake Burnette had a two-run home run for No. 2 Buford (10-1, 4-0 Region 6-AA), and Brian Clark added three hits.

Buford visits Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

JEFFERSON 10, NORTH OCONEE 9 (Tuesday): Austin Thompson had a fourth-inning grand slam for the Dragons (4-6, 3-5 Region 8-AA) in Jefferson. Max Ford, Jason Demos, Drew Carson and Patrick Martin each drove in a run for Jefferson.

Soccer

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 3, NORTH FORSYTH 0: Cassidy Elrod scored three unassisted goals for the Lady Falcons (9-5) on Wednesday at Falcons Field. Flowery Branch goalkeeper Lauren Dunn recorded the shutout, including a save on a breakaway.

Flowery Branch hosts Rockdale County at 3 p.m. Saturday.

JOHNSON BOYS 4, WHITE COUNTY 0: Ariel Mejia had a hat trick, and Ben Cervantes added a goal for the Knights (10-1, 8-1 Region 8-AAA) on Tuesday. Manuel Aguilar, Edgar Ochoa and Israel Azuara had assists for Johnson, which visits Blessed Trinity on Friday.

Golf

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 92, NORTH HALL 101: Meg Callahan and LeeAnn Noble each carded a 46 for the Lady Red Elephants on Wednesday at Chestatee Golf Course. Caroline White led North Hall with a 50.
Gainesville faces West Hall and Habersham Central today at Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Tennis

CHESTATEE BOYS 3, JOHNSON 2: Jonathon Cook won without losing a game at No. 1 singles for the War Eagles, while Jeremiah Reed won at No. 2 singles. Pearce Gruenenfelder and Blaine Brown won at No. 1 doubles for Chestatee.
Johnson's Casey Tanner won at No. 3 singles.

JOHNSON GIRLS 3, CHESTATEE 2: Cady Nix, Maggie Turner and Harlee Robson swept singles play for the Lady Knights on Wednesday in Oakwood.

NORTH HALL GIRLS 3, WEST HALL 2: The Lady Trojans swept doubles play with wins from Valerie Bohannon/Kari Butts and Mary Catherine Martin/Ashton Bailey at Alberta Banks Park. Morgan Van Meter won in singles for North Hall.

WEST HALL BOYS 5, NORTH HALL 0: Brenden Worth, Max Wilson and Connor McFall all won in singles for the Spartans (14-1) on Wednesday at the Bobby Bailey Tennis Center in Flowery Branch.

JEFFERSON BOYS 3, GEORGE WALTON 2 (Tuesday): Zack Bost, Blair Buffington and Ben Daniel all won in singles for the Dragons on Tuesday in eight-game pro-set matches.

GEORGE WALTON GIRLS 3, JEFFERSON 2 (Tuesday): Bell Blankenship and Tristan McGarity won in singles for the Dragons on Tuesday in Monroe.
