Tavia Sykes scored 23 points and Cara Chilton added 22 to lead the Lady Falcons to a 65-62 victory at North Hall in overtime on Saturday.

The Lady Trojans led by six going into the final quarter, but Flowery Branch came back to tie the score and eventually grab the win in extra time.

Flowery Branch hosts Apalachee at 6 p.m. on Tuesday; North Hall will play at Lumpkin County on the same day.

NORTH HALL BOYS 63, FLOWERY BRANCH 45: Adam Kelly scored 16 points and Avery Cagle dropped 14 to lead the Trojans to a win over Flowery Branch at home on Saturday.

North Hall (12-3, 1-0 8-AAA North) jumped out to a 40-21 lead at the half and didn’t look back. Ethan Smith added 12 points for the Trojans. Jamaad Stephens and Jaleel Bailey each scored 15 for Flowery Branch.

The Trojans will host Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 36, WALNUT GROVE 28: Rebecca Webster scored 12 points for the Lady Red Elephants as they were able to top Walnut Grove on Saturday.

Paisley Lee added 10 points for Gainesville, which will play at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Johnson.

WHITE COUNTY BOYS 55, FANNIN COUNTY 33: Andrew London scored a game-high 15 points to lead the Warriors to a win over Fannin County on Saturday in Cleveland. Maurice Sutton and Dalton Whitfield had seven rebounds each for White County (6-8, 1-0 Region 8A-AAA), which hosts Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN GIRLS 37, HOLY GROUND CHRISTIAN 21: The Lady Chargers traveled on Saturday to Carrollton and defeated Holy Ground Christian 37-21.

The Lady Chargers (4-1) were led in the game by Nicole Ball’s 14 points. 

North Georgia Christian will play on Tuesday at Colonial Hills Christian in Lithia Springs.

NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN BOYS 67, HOLY GROUND CHRISTIAN 12: The Chargers rolled to an easy victory on Saturday, led by Tristan Diepbnbrock and Sam Muenchen, who scored 12 points apiece. 

The Chargers (5-2) play at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Colonial Hills Christian.

UNION COUNTY GIRLS 54, HAYESVILLE (N.C.) 42: Rebecka Merritt scored 18 points and the Union County girls cruised to victory on Saturday in Blairsville.

Union County (13-2) will host Fannin County at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

HAYESVILLE BOYS 73, UNION COUNTY 41: Rhett McCombs had 14 points and James Rowe tallied 13, along with 12 rebounds, but the Panthers were unable to keep up with Hayesville (16-0) on Saturday in Blairsville.

Union County (8-7) will face Fannin County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Blairsville.

WEST HALL GIRLS 44, LANIER 41: Haley Haynes made just two shots, but they came in the most important moments of the game. She hit a 3-pointer to tie the game and another to win in the final 10 seconds for the Lady Spartans on Saturday at Lanier.

West Hall (5-13, 2-2 8-AAA South) was led by Brooke Reed’s 17 points, nine of which came in the final quarter.

West Hall will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Walnut Grove.

MONROE AREA BOYS 59, JOHNSON 54: Johnson trailed, 47-35, going into the final quarter, and despite a strong effort, were unable to come away with the win.

Montrell McKenzie led the Knights (7-8, 0-3 8-AAA South) with 16 points and 19 rebounds, and Drew Dunham added 15 points. Johnson hosts Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

JOHNSON GIRLS 71, MONROE AREA 33: Lyndsey Pethel scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds, and the Lady Knights picked up their second win of the season on Saturday in Oakwood.

Johnson (2-13, 1-2) were helped by Natoyia Randolph (13 points) and Ryleigh Shannon (13 assists). Johnson will host Gainesville at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 75, OCONEE COUNTY 42 (FRIDAY): Shaquan Cantrell led the Red Elephants(10-4, 4-0 8-AAA South) with 20 points, six rebounds and four steals Friday in Gainesville. Kane Smith and Lance White scored 13 and 11 points respectively.
