Julianne Sutton led the North Georgia Christian girls (3-1) with 15 points and 20 rebounds in a 37-34 win Thursday against Cumberland Christian Academy in Marietta.
The Lady Chargers’ next game is in Carrollton on Saturday.
CUMBERLAND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY BOYS 55, NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN 44: Dylan Boonstra led the Chargers with 14 points, five rebounds and two steals, but Cumberland Christian was able to hold off North Georgia (4-2) Thursday in Marietta after taking a 28-7 lead at the half.
Trey Collins added seven points and five rebounds and Aaron Willis scored seven for the Chargers, who play at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at Holy Ground Baptist Academy in Roopville.
