Ebo Smith recorded 20 points for North Hall in a 59-40 win against Habersham Central in the first round of the WCON Christmas Classic on Thursday in Mount Airy.

Adam Kelly added 13 points and Griffin Olson had 10 for the Trojans (9-1).

The Trojans face Forsyth Central in the tournament at 4:30 today in Mount Airy.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 41, ROSWELL 28: Erin Clifford led Chestatee with 14 points in the opening round of the Lake City Christmas Classic on Thursday in Acworth.

Deanna Bradberry added eight points for the Lady War Eagles, and Maegan Kenimer tallied seven.

Chestatee returns to action in the tournament at 4:30 p.m. today in Acworth.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 50, PIEDMONT (ALA.) 44: Gunnar Armstrong scored 12 points for Dawson County on Thursday at the Battle of the States Tournament at Towns County High in Hiawassee.

Tyler Dominy added nine for the undefeated Tigers (11-0). Dawson County faces Hayesville (N.C.) in the second round of the tournament at 5:30 tonight in Hiawassee.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 59, HOKE’S BLUFF (ALA.) 49: Carly Gilreath tallied 11 points for Dawson County and reached the 1,000-point mark for her high-school career on Thursday in Hiawassee.

Ashley Parker added seven points for the Lady Tigers (10-1). Dawson County faces Gordon Lee in the second round of the tournament at 4 p.m. today in Hiawassee.

HOLY CROSS (MD.) GIRLS 37, BUFORD 36: Kaela Davis scored 12 points for the Lady Wolves in the Holy Innocents’ Tournament on Thursday in Atlanta.

Buford faces St. Francis in the tournament at 3:15 today.

WESTMINSTER GIRLS 25, LUMPKIN COUNTY 24: Morgan Wood led the Lady Indians with 10 points in the first round of the Westminster Holiday Classic on Thursday in Atlanta, and Lacey Robinson added eight points and 10 rebounds.

Lumpkin County plays Johns Creek in the tournament at noon today in Atlanta.

EUSTIS (FLA.) BOYS 83, EAST HALL 76: Brian Edwards tallied 21 points for the Vikings in a loss in the opening round of the Great Florida Shootout on Thursday in Kissimmee, Fla.

Daniel McCreavy scored 12 points for East Hall, and Tristen Cooper and Caleb Holtzclaw each added 11.

The Vikings face Chamberlain in the consolation portion of the silver bracket at 9 a.m. today in Kissimmee, Fla.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 39, FORSYTH CENTRAL 26: Taylor Kennedy paced the Lady Leopards with 13 points in the win on Thursday at the WCON Christmas Classic in Mount Airy.

Kaitlyn Duncan added seven points for Banks County (10-2), which plays Habersham Central at 6 tonight in Mount Airy.
