High school scoreboard: Balanced scoring carries Chestatee girls to 57-31 win

The Chestatee girls had all five starters score in double figures as it beat West Hall 57-31 on Tuesday. Emma Easterwood led the Lady War Eagles (13-10, 5-5 Region 7-4A) with 15 points, while Danielle Bull, Bowen Corley, Maggie McNair and Logan Wiggins each scored 10 points. 

Leading 38-20 at halftime, Chestatee outscored West Hall 17-1 in the third quarter.

Up next, Chestatee visits White County at 6 p.m. Friday. 

CHESTATEE BOYS 64, WEST HALL 41: Brenton Nicholson scored a game-high 22 points and Jonah Bull added 18 for the War Eagles (11-12, 5-5 Region 7-4A) on Tuesday. Kyle Bowmar had 14 for Chestatee. 

Up next, Chestatee visits White County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 62, DENMARK 34: Ashlee Locke had 17 points and 15 boards for the Lady Falcons on Tuesday. Morgan Aguilar and Shaina Kriews each had 11 points for Flowery Branch, while Emilee Scott and Bella Brick each finished with 10. 

Leading 11-7 after the first quarter, Flowery Branch pushed its lead to 35-19 for halftime. 

DENMARK BOYS 76, FLOWERY BRANCH 40: Judson Burney scored a team-high 11 points for the Falcons, while Andrew Armstrong finished with 10 on Tuesday. 

CHEROKEE BLUFF BOYS 73, FANNIN COUNTY 43: Carlos Marlow scored 13 points and Jason Evrett finished with 12 points for the Bears (14-8, 6-3 Region 7-3A) on Tuesday. 

NORTH HALL GIRLS 66, DAWSON COUNTY 50: Rylee McCall scored 18 points and Grace Hollifield added 13 points on Tuesday. 

For Dawson County, Maddie Anglin had a team-high 15 points. 

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 68, NORTH HALL 43: Clark Howell scored 11 points and Luke Gunter finished with 9 for the Trojans (15-8, 6-4 Region 7-3A) on Tuesday. Campbell Reed scored 18 points for the Tigers, while Jasper Gibson added 17. 

Up next, North Hall visits Lumpkin County at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Dahlonega. 

DACULA GIRLS 58, GAINESVILLE 42: Sadie Roach scored a game-high 17 points and Lauren Teasley added 10 on Tuesday. Dacula took control early, leading 17-4 after the first period.  On Friday, Gainesville hosts Apalachee at 7 p.m.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 72, TOWNS COUNTY 24: Eliza Snyder and Maddy Towles each scored 19 points for the Lady Lions (17-6, 7-0 Region 8-A) on Tuesday. Joelle Snyder and Ellie Kate Madonna each had 11 for Lakeview Academy. 

Up next, Lakeview Academy visits Athens Academy at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

LANIER CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 50, YOUNG AMERICANS CHRISTIAN 22: Lexie Robertson had a game-high 11 points for Lanier Christian (12-3), while Faith Wasden added 10 on Tuesday. On Friday, Lanier Christian hosts Peachtree Academy. 

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 50, MONTICELLO 42: Carl Cleveland had 22 points and 12 rebounds for the Leopards (17-4) on Tuesday in Monticello. 

Up next, Banks County visits Elbert County on Friday in Elberton.
