Twelve players scored for the Gainesville High boys basketball team as they won a home contest against Winder-Barrow, 75-60, on Tuesday.
Senior D’Marcus Simonds led the Red Elephants with 12 points. Sophomore Xavier Bledson added 11 points, and senior Tae Turner finished with 10.
Gainesville (13-4, 10-0 8-AAAAA) visits Lanier 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
BANKS COUNTY BOYS 82, EAST HALL 66: Leopards senior Zez Steeple was a dominant force Tuesday night to the tune of 39 points.
Teammate Zac Orr registered another double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Kendrick Simmons put up eight points and five steals, and junior Kahmal Wiley had eight points and seven rebounds.
Banks County (18-2, 8-0 7-AAA) visits Dawson County 8:30 p.m. Friday, while East Hall (13-6, 6-2) hosts Gainesville 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
NORTH HALL BOYS 65, WHITE COUNTY 52: The Trojans had four players score double-figures on Tuesday in Cleveland.
Evan Easton led the way with 18 points. Sam Jackson had 17, Harrison Harper netted 15 and Carson Heinen added 10.
Whit Mauney scored a game-high 23 points for the Warriors.
North Hall (15-5, 3-1 8-AAAA) visits North Oconee 8:30 p.m. Friday, while White County (14-6, 2-1 8-AAAA) hosts Chestatee 8:30 p.m. Friday.
NORTH HALL GIRLS 69, WHITE COUNTY GIRLS 44: Sadie Cleveland tallied 25 points for the Lady Trojans on Tuesday in Cleveland.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 64, LANIER 27: Lady Falcons Maddie Hetzel and Taniyah Worth both scored 12 points, while Janoah Williams added 10 Tuesday night in Sugar Hill.
Flowery Branch (19-1, 9-1 8-AAAAA) hosts Apalachee 7 p.m. on Friday.
DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 45, UNION COUNTY 38: Tigers sophomore Jeremiah Crumley scored a game-high 18 points on Tuesday in Dawsonville.
Fellow sophomore Gabe Bryant added 10 points.
Dawson County (10-10) hosts Banks County 8:30 p.m. Friday.
DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS 64, UNION COUNTY 37: The Lady Tigers spread the offense around on Tuesday as 11 players put up points in Dawsonville.
Katelynn Simpson and Kaylee Sticker both scored a team-high 10 points, while Karlie Bearden and Ansley Costley each scored eight.
Dawson County (18-2, 6-1 7-AAA) hosts Banks County 7 p.m. on Friday.
Swimming
The Riverside Military boys swim team won their home meet on Tuesday, defeating five other schools.
The top four swimmers (all from Riverside) were Calvin Price, Kevin Reale, Ivan Pearson and Landon Kistler.
Buford High finished in second place. The Wolves were led by Grady Rothweller and Nick Lasha.
Buford won the girls meet, defeating Social Circle, Tallulah Falls, George Walton and Union County.
