Jonathan Hughes struck out 18 batters and allowed just one hit for Flowery Branch in an 8-0 win against Clarke Central on Friday.

Hughes went 1 for 3 with an RBI, and Stephen Skeggs was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Trey Groves finished the game 1 for 3 with an RBI.

The Falcons (11-4) play host to Clarke Central on Monday in Flowery Branch.

EAST HALL 8, FRANKLIN COUNTY 3: Jonah Crocker’s two-run homer led the Vikings on Friday in Gainesville.

Ronnie Peebles finished with a single and two RBIs for East Hall, and Cole Smith hit a two-run double.

DAWSON COUNTY 8, WEST HALL 4 (12 INNINGS): Logan Crumley’s three-run homer fueled the Tigers on Friday in Oakwood.

Zach Buchan also hit a home run for Dawson County (5-11), and Dylan Heller was the winning pitcher.

Gerardo Molina earned the win in goal after the Knights allowed just one shot in the first half.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 1, WINDER-BARROW 0: Luz Cuellar scored the game’s lone goal for the Lady Falcons on Thursday.

Flowery Branch (5-7-2) plays at Salem on April 14.

NORTH HALL BOYS 7, LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 2: Andrew Miller-Bell scored on a free kick and the Lions’ other goal came on an own goal on a throw-in Thursday.

T.J. Wolcott recorded 20 saves for Lakeview (5-6).
