High school football: West Hall falls to Jackson County, 26-18, in opener

West Hall scored on a pair of long touchdowns in the first half, but came up short against Jackson County, 26-18, to open the season Friday in Oakwood. Andrew Malin had a 36-yard touchdown catch from Clayton Jenkins in the second quarter for the Spartans, then they scored on a 54-yard run by Josiah Henriques before the halftime.
