Gainesville High’s Spencer Ralston remains in striking distance of a victory in the Georgia State Golf Association’s Junior Championship at the Brunswick Country Club after a second-round 2-under 70 on Tuesday. Ralston is tied for third at 5-under 139 with first-round leader Mark David Johnson Jr. of St. Simons Island through two of the three rounds. He was tied for second and one shot back after one round.
