High school football: North Hall takes down Jackson County, 16-0, at The Brickyard

JT Fair scored on bursts of 80 and 47 yards as North Hallshut down Jackson County, 16-0, on Friday at The Brickyard. 

Fair finished with 13 carries for 205 yards. Cody Smith also played a big part in the Trojans’ running game, chipping in 77 yards on 14 touches.

North Hall finished all 325 yards of offense on the ground. 

The Trojans added a safety on defense in the fourth quarter to ice the game away.

North Hall’s defense was stellar again, yielding only 48 rushing yards and 117 yards of total offense. 

Logan Hawthorne had a game-high 8 tackles for North Hall.

With the win, the Trojans move to 2-0 with a game against Cherokee on Friday in Canton.
