Luke Holtzclaw launched a home run as East Hall scored five runs in the sixth inning on Wednesday in a 13-5 win against Dawson County. TJ Smith had three hits and then threw an inning in relief to finish off the game for East Hall.

Hudson Sapp, Bo Lewis and Nick Mullinax had hits for East Hall in a four-run fifth inning.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 3, ATHENS CHRISTIAN 2: Andrew Estes led the Lions both on the mound and at the plate, pitching five innings and allowed two runs and three walks, while going 2 for 3 with an RBI double at the plate. Campbell Melson went 2 for 4 with two RBI singles and a stolen base. He earned the save pitching two perfect innings. KJ Millwood, Holden Cooper and Skyler Thellman each had singles for Lakeview Academy.

Next, the Lions (15-4, 7-0 Region 8-A) face Lumpkin County on Friday.
