Georgia Tech catcher and third baseman Alysha Rudnik was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
Rudnik, a graduate of Buford High, led Georgia Tech to a 3-1 record last week, including a 2-1 record in conference play. She posted a .750 (9-for-12) batting average, seven runs, three doubles and a home run. This marks second time this season she has earned the weekly award.
Rudnik and the Yellow Jackets visit Georgia at 6 tonight in Athens.
