DURHAM, N.C. — Chad Pinder drove in the winning run on a sacrifice fly in the seventh to help Virginia Tech beat Georgia Tech 3-2 on Friday in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament, clinching an appearance in Sunday's final. Pinder also had a solo home run in the fourth for the sixth-seeded Hokies (38-19), who went 3-0 in Pool B to clinch a reach the title game. Alex Perez also drove in a run for the Hokies, while starter Devin Burke (10-3) allowed two runs — one earned — and seven hits in 7 2/3 innings.
