The University of Georgia baseball team jumped out to an early lead in the first inning and held on for a 5-1 win against Georgia Tech on Tuesday night at Foley Field in Athens. Keegan McGovern’s single and Gainesville High graduate Michael Curry’s double both drove in a run in the opening frame. LJ Talley grounded into a run-scoring fielder’s choice to put the Bulldogs (15-19) up 3-0 after the first inning.
