University of Georgia men’s golfer Spencer Ralston added another All-American accolade Thursday following his standout sophomore season.

The Gainesville High graduate earned honorable mention All-America recognition from both the Golf Coaches Association of America and PING, the university announced in a news release. Ralston had previously received the same distinction from Golfweek Magazine, and he was also a second team All-Southeastern Conference selection.

After the Bulldogs’ season concluded, Ralston reeled in the 2018 Dick Copas Award for his team-high scoring average of 70.86. The Gainesville native recorded top-10 finishes in seven of Georgia’s 12 tournaments this season, placing a career-best second at both the Crooked Stick Invitational and the Linger Longer Invitational.
