The Gwinnett Braves completed their first four-game series sweep of the season Sunday, defeating the Toldeo Mud Hens behind a strong effort from starting pitcher, Charlie Morton.
Morton (6-2) gave up four hits and struck out four, while yielding no walks in seven innings of work.
Catcher Alvin Colina led the offense, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Grego Blanco and Van Pope each had two hits.
The Braves continue their homestand at 6 p.m. today against Indianapolis.
